Probably not even above a single session. But it's possible that some plastic deformation occurs at the nano level.<br /><br />The issue is generating tensile strain. Cycling generates tensile strain and bending strain. I'll look for evidence in cyclists that bicycling induced permanent deformation in the bone. If so, all you would have to do is bicycle in the other direction to council out the bending strain and get pure longitudinal strain.<br /><br />But unless there's nanoplastic strain, then you need observable increase in bone length at the end of a single session.<br /><br />With plastic strain, you get the results right then.
